The Commission of Inquiry into State Capture will resume with hearings in a month’s time.

Commission Chair Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has allowed a postponement until the 12th of November. Evidence leader, Advocate Thandi Norman applied for the postponement saying the evidence by former Public Enterprises minister Barbara Hogan was received late.

Current Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan will testify on November 15th.

Justice Zondo says a postponement is necessary, as evidence should reach the commission in advance in order to give implicated parties time to respond.
