Young squash sensation Awande Malinga outplayed Rebecca Glanville and Erin Powers without dropping a game, in the Interprovincial (IPT) tournament in Bloemfontein at the weekend.
Despite the cold weather, the wonder kid of SA junior squash ensured she won her first match with ease.
Malinga says that she is very proud of her performance.
The tournament continues till Wednesday the 19th of June and Malinga, as the first seed of Gauteng North girls U-16 A will carry on representing the North side.
While explaining that she is content with her game, the 14-year-old also says that all she has to do next is to up her mental game. – Report by Sinovuyo Ndudane
