The president says his next address will take into account the Easter holidays, which could also be a possible super-spreader season like the festive season.

The Health Department has reported 1 447 new cases of coronavirus, taking the number of total infections to 1 512 225.

There have been a further 157 COVID-19-related deaths in the country, bringing the national death toll to 49 941 deaths.

Recoveries now stand at 1 429 047, representing a recovery rate of 94%.

The number of vaccines that have been administered to healthcare workers now stands at 63 648.
