Public Policy analyst TK Pooe says President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation Address sounded more like a mini electioneering speech than a summary of what government has achieved in the last five years.
Ramaphosa delivered the State of the Nation Address on Thursday, his second since taking office from former President Jacob Zuma last year.
Speaking on Morning Live,Pooe says Ramaphosa’s address was a great electioneering speech. He says it seemed like the President was making promises that will be fulfilled should people vote for the ANC.
However he says, the most important issue that came out from the speech was the possible future of the economy and dangers around it should problems not be addressed urgently.
