Social media continues to be abuzz with tributes to the late Media personality, Kuli Roberts who passed away on Wednesday night.
The 49-year-old worked across media platforms such as television, radio, magazines, and newspapers.
Actor, Bonnie Mbuli Tweeted, “RIP to one the most fearless, effervescent, incandescent and realest queen in the industry’ and Comedian Marc Lottering wrote, ‘ Rest Fabulously, Crazy Girl. Wow. Never thought I’d be posting this. Farewell Kuli Roberts.’
Her friend, Penny Lebyane says they were together not so long ago where they spoke about Roberts’ unreleased podcast.
Lebyane says, “I have so much to say and I’m really saddened. I know how excited you were about the new project. I was looking forward to it. We spoke about it last year and I said they must just call, I’m ready. I’m so sorry for your family, especially your children, sister, cousin and the rest of the family.”
Reaction from Twitter:
Her forthright and fiery demeanour was a flame that was a guiding light. Never seeking to burn down everything, but to provide warmth. An entertainment icon who was on the periphery of what the industry deemed too safe.#ripkuliroberts #kuliroberts pic.twitter.com/1uJAyqkvTq

Proud to have passed on baton to talented young #DIVAS like yourselves. What a pity Kuli is gone too soon.? pic.twitter.com/Orr09z6bsL
