Hip Hop artist, Jabulani Hadebe, better known by his stage name ‘Sjava’, speaks of how the Black Panther music track came about.
Sjava says American rapper and songwriter, Kendrick Lamar is the one who actually called to ask if they can work together.
“At first, we did not know that it was for Black Panther, because he said he likes what we are doing – the whole culture. We found out later that it was actually for Black Panther,” he says.
On SABC Morning Live, Sjava has also promised more music to his fans.
