Six suspects killed during cash-in-transit heist in Rosettenville, Gauteng

Six suspects have been killed in a shoot-out during a cash-in-transit heist in Rosettenville, south of Johannesburg.
Details of the incident are still sketchy, but police say more suspects have been arrested.
Gauteng Police commissioner Elias Mawela is expected to brief the media this evening.
Man killed in Durban
A man has been shot and killed in an office in Springfield Park in Durban. ALS paramedics responded to the shooting together with the police.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson  Rowan Scandroglio says the man was declared deceased on the scene .
“ALS paramedics together with SAPS responded to a shooting incident that had occurred on Elctron road in the Springfield area. On arrival, paramedics were escorted to an office by police where they found a male believed to be in his forties had sustained gunshot wounds. Unfortunately there was nothing more paramedics could do for him. SAPS will be investigating further.”
Security officer killed 
A security officer has been killed in a shooting at Umlazi, south of Durban. Another security officer was wounded in the incident.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen, “A security officer has been killed whilst another has been airlifted in a critical condition following a shooting incident in Umlazi south of Durban. Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene in B section to find the two men seated in a Datsun Go. The driver was found in a critical condition and a call was made for the assistance of the Netcare911 aeromedical helicopter to airlift him through to a specialist facility for the definitive care that he required. The passenger was found to have sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead on arrival of paramedics. The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.”
