Six bank robbery suspects are on Friday expected back in the Klerksdorp magistrate’s court in North West.
They robbed the Klerksdorp Nedbank Branch of an amount of R3 million, two months ago.
They were arrested by the police in the North West and Gauteng.
In their last court appearance they were granted bail ranging from R20 000 to R30 000.
The six who are from Johannesburg, were arrested by police for being linked to the robbery which occurred on the 11 April this year.
They allegedly posed as SBV security officers on a routine cash pick-up.
The suspects were allegedly dressed in SBV security uniform when they entered the bank and collected the cash after producing false credentials.
The tracing operation resulted in the recovery of just over R50 000 from one of the suspect’s home.
Financial and asset forfeiture investigations were conducted by both the police in North West and Gauteng.
