SimTiger to tee-off in Kids World Golf Championships

Young South African golf star Simthandile “SimTiger” Tshabalala will jet-off to Malaysia on Thursday the 12th of December to the Kids World Golf Championships, teeing-off from 16 till 20 December.

The competition provides an excellent opportunity for young golfers across the world to compete and earn world amateur ranking points.

Tshabalala says that he is more than ready.

Tshabalala has been undeniably enjoying his fair share of a good year in 2019 golf wise, including receiving the Minister’s Excellence Award 2019.

His father Bonginkosi, who is always working close to his son’s game as a caddy and coach, says that with a lot of travelling his son has been handling this busy year very well.

South Africa’s junior golf prodigy has also teamed up to play with a legend, Sally Little and Public Works Minister Patricia De Lille to raise funds for victims of gender-based violence.

They raised around R250 000.

Tshabalala Senior says that his talented son always wanted to contribute to community building.

With the excitement going in the country after South Africa’s Zozibini Tunzi crowned Miss Universe 2019, the 7-year-old star also passed his warm regards to Tunzi.
