SimTiger looks forward to Local Golf Tour

South Africa’s golf prodigy Simthandile “SimTiger” Tshabalala is looking forward to the one day Local Golf Tour, set to take place at Reading Country Club,  Johannesburg, on Sunday.

Tshabalala,  who recently took part in the Australian Open Golf Championships, in which he came out in the top 5, shares on his preparations.

Currently ranked  14 in the world, with over 20 trophies won from both local and International events, it can be easy for the young golf sensation to succumb to pressure.

But his father Bonginkosi Tshabalala says he always reminds his son not to be hard on himself.

With the amount of training and hard work they put every day,  Tshabalala Senior says that they are looking forward to this upcoming tour.

The Seven-year-old golfer has represented his country in a number of international events.  Tshabalala who is also his son’s caddy shares what he describes as “successful approach” to all of their tournaments. -Reporting by Sinovuyo Ndudane
