These are some of the scenes and views from the Human Rights Day commemoration in Rosedale Field, Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape.
The 2015 commemoration marks the 55th anniversary since the 1960 Sharpeville Massacre when Apartheid security forces shot at people protesting against pass laws.
When the shooting ended, 69 people were killed and 180 were injured.
