Seven people are confirmed dead after a crash involving two vehicles on the R61 between Ngcobo and Cofimvaba in the Eastern Cape. A minor is among the dead.
It’s alleged a bakkie travelling towards Tsomo collided with a car comsing from the opposite direction.
Provincial transport department spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says three people on the bakkie and four on the other vehicle died on the scene.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
