Seven people have been arrested for various crimes across Cape Town. Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, says three people were arrested in Eersteriver following a business robbery in the area.
He says the trio fled the scene with multiple boxes of cigarettes which were later recovered.
Twigg says a 36-year-old suspect was also nabbed for illegally dealing in liquor in Mfuleni.
They will appear in the Blue Down’s Magistrate’s court on Monday.
Twigg says they also confiscated illegal firearms and ammunition in Atlantis and Heinz Park.
