The five men, accused of killing Bafana Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa, are expected to go on trial on Monday at the High Court sitting at Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court in Gauteng.

Police have confirmed that KwaZulu-Natal hitman Fisokuhle Ntuli who has been convicted for multiple crimes including murder has also been linked to Meyiwa’s murder.

Meyiwa was killed at his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo’s Vosloorus home, East of Johannesburg in October 2014, but no one has yet been convicted.

Police national spokesperson Vish Naidoo says, “Fisokuhle Ntuli is accused number five. A lot of people are looking for answers but let this case unfold in court and I think people will learn who exactly had what role to play in this killing of Senzo Meyiwa.”

The case will run until November 12.

The accused made a brief appearance at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on March 5, 2021:
