The team, led by Minister in the Presidency Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, will meet in Pretoria.

The SACP in the North West says it is aware of attempts to undermine government’s interventions in governance of the province.

The political turmoil in the province will remain in the spotlight Monday when the Inter-ministerial Task Team, discusses its report on the state of governance in the province.

The team, led by Minister in the Presidency Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, will meet in Pretoria. This comes as cabinet informs the National Council of Provinces of the national government’s plan to take over the administration of the North West under Section 100 of the Constitution – a first for South Africa.

Speaking on Sunrise SACP provincial spokesperson Smuts Matshe says, “We are quite aware about all those things that are being planned to undermine the interventions of national government as well as the ANC nationally and we’ll call upon not only members of the ANC but the entire alliance to support all these interventions that are being made to save our province.”
