Reading Time: 3 minutes

The SABC will broadcast the final of the CAF Champions League live on Saturday evening from around eight pm.

The game features what promises to be an epic clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Egyptian outfit, Al Ahly.

Kickoff is at nine pm at Casablanca in Morocco.

The CAF Champions League final is Kaizer Chiefs’ first ever since the club’s more than five decades of existence.

Stuart Baxter’s team will be facing off with South Africa’s own, Pitso Mosimane’s men who are aiming for their 10th Champions’ League cup.

The public broadcaster says it is very pleased that it will carrying the match live after successful commercial negotiations with SuperSport.

It wishes Abafana Bokuthula Noxolo the best of luck for the final and says it hopes that the knowledge that the whole country will be watching them will inspire the team to greater heights.

General Manager of SABC Sport Gary Rathbone elaborates:

Messages of goodwill continue to stream in for Amakhosi on social media.
