Microsoft sues Samsung in US over patent royalties

Microsoft Corp sued Samsung Electronics Co Ltd on Friday, claiming the South Korean smartphone maker refused to make a royalty payment last fall on patent licenses after Microsoft announced its intention to acquire Nokia’s handset business.

Thousands of kilometers away from the combat in Gaza, world citizens are fighting their own war, on social media.

Rather than rockets, bombs and shells, the weapons are words!

Conflict analysts say influencing public opinion is a key factor in modern warfare, particularly one like the Gaza conflict.

It has quickly become known as a “war of the hashtags”. While both sides are highly polarised, they have two things in common. They use strong language and images. But, as Palestinians post bloody pictures from a Gaza scene, the Israelis show rocket damage to their buildings. Let us now take a look at how that significant divide plays out on social media.
