Anticipation is mounting at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) as the public broadcaster is counting down hours for the rebranding of SABC News.
Reworked and re-branded programming across television, radio and online platforms is expected to be unveiled on Monday.
SABC News says it’s working on ensuring a consistent delivery of quality news and that its editorial content independence is beyond reproach.
The changes are aimed at assisting the public broadcaster to keep up with the modern broadcast environment and emerging digital opportunities.
SABC News and Current Affairs Group Executive, Phathiswa Magopeni says the aim is to deliver compelling content.
