Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa says a musical benefit concert has been arranged for next month, also Africa Month, to offer assistance to citizens of flood ravaged countries of Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique.
Thousand of lives have been lost while over three-million people have been displaced since deadly cyclone Idai hit the three countries.
The damage to infrastructure, public institutions, household shelters and businesses is estimated at over two billion US dollars.
The concert will comprise artists from affected neighbouring countries, local artists and members of the renowned Living Legends artists.
