South Africa records another daily increase in coronavirus cases with 8 728 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 168 061.
In a statement on Thursday, the Department of Health has also reported a further 95 COVID-19 related deaths to 2 844 nationally.
1 706 127 tests have been completed in total of which 39 188 new tests are reported.
The recoveries are at 81 999, translating to 48.8%.
