The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has reported 5 668 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa, which brings the total number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 3 534 131.
This increase represents a 14% positivity rate.
A further 119 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 92 649 to date.
Recoveries now stand at 3 298 672.
