SA rapper arrested for wife’s murder

The suspect will appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate's Court on Thursday.

A 40-year-old famous Soweto-born rapper has been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife.

It’s understood that the rapper’s 41-year old wife was initially thought to have died of natural causes.

She was was found dead in a room on the 31st of December.

However, police suspected foul play and have opened a murder docket.

Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini says the suspect will appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
