No knowledge of Mngwangwa’s whereabouts: Nkoana-Mashabane

Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane says South Africa has no information regarding the whereabouts of axed Zimbabwean Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Mnangagwa is reported to have fled to South Africa after he was fired by President Robert Mugabe earlier this week.

While reports of his whereabouts are still sketchy, some believe he is in South Africa.

on Thursday, expelled war veterans threw their weight behind Mnangagwa.

SADC’s chair says South Africa has no information of his whereabouts. Angola echoed the same sentiment.

Back in Zimbabwe it’s business as usual for President Robert Mugabe. On Thursday, he officiated at the official renaming of the Harare Airport.

It’s now called Robert Mugabe International Airport.
