The two men convicted of the killing of Afrikaans writer, Winnie Rust will be sentenced next year.
Nigel Plaatjies and his uncle, Johannes Plaatjies were convicted in the Cape Town High Court on Monday.
They were also found guilty of among others robbery and fraud.
Rust was murdered at her Wellington home in May last year.
Sentencing procedures will start on the 5th February.
Rust mentored and financially supported the 19-year-old Nigel Plaatjies.
Judge Elize Steyn says evidence by a pathologist showed that two men committed the murder and that brutal force was used.
