The funeral service of late South African rugby player Luqobo “Bibo” Makwedini is set to take place in Qumrha in the Eastern Cape on Saturday.
Makwedini died earlier this month after collapsing during a training session in France.
He was rushed to hospital, where he later passed away.
His body was repatriated to South Africa earlier this week.
One of the community members attending the funeral says it has been difficult for the community to come to terms with Makwedini’s passing.
