Royal AM moved to second spot on the DSTV Premiership after a 2-nil win over SuperSport United in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors scored a goal in each half to claim maximum points.
This was Royal AM’s ninth win of the season, having collected 33 points.
The KwaZulu Natal-based side now trails log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by 15 points with a game in hand.
The visitors showed their intentions very early when they took the lead in the opening minutes of the match through new signing Mxolisi Macuphu.
But SuperSport got a lifeline when they won a penalty in the 9th minute.
But keeper Peter Nyame became an instant hero when he denied midfielder Jammie Webber from the spot-kick.
SuperSport was unlucky to concede a penalty in the 75th minute.
Bafana Bafana forward Victor Letsoalo beat his national captain hands down to make it 2-nil from the spot.
