Slovenia’s cycling superstar, Primoz Roglic, added yet another cycling title to his curriculum vitae when he claimed the Milano-Torino one-day semi-classic for 2021.

Roglic has already had plenty to celebrate this year, winning gold in the Olympic time trial and becoming the Vuelta A Espana champion for the third year in a row.

He had another cycling title in his sights, and as he went past Britain’s Adam Yates of the Ineos Grenadiers, with just metres to go, it was mission accomplished.

Roglic finished 12 seconds ahead of Yates, with Portugal’s Joao Almeida third. Roglic’s compatriot and arch-rival Tadej Pogacar was fourth.
