Some roads in Durban have been closed due to the African National Congress Rally which is being held today at the ABSA stadium in Matthews Meyiwa Road (previouslyStamford Hill road), Durban.Masabalala Yengwa (formerly NMRAvenue) will be closed from Goble Road to Argyle Road until 5pm. Isaiah Ntshangase (Walter Gilbert) Rd will also be affected.The Virgin Active Kings Park, will be closed today as well.Thousands of fans and supporters are expected to fill up the Stadium as the ruling party issues its January 8 Statement.The Statement is a state of the ANC which sets the goals and aims of the party in the year to follow.President Jacob Zuma is expected to address the crowd later this morning.
