Anti-apartheid struggle stalwart and the last remaining ANC Rivonia trialist, Andrew Mlangeni, will turn 95-years-old on Saturday.
In a webinar, President Cyril Ramaphosa, among others, will be part of his birthday celebration.
His son and trustee of the June and Andrew Mlangeni Foundation, Sello Mlangeni says, “It is pity that this thing is happening when at this particular point in time, where we have this global pandemic, 95 years is quite a milestone and we were hoping to celebrate him in a different way.”
