The upcoming elections will be a social media dress rehearsal for 2019 as political parties focus more on social media campaigning.
The ANC, DA and Agang SA are the most notable parties on social media, and will step up their online presence even more for by-elections, municipal elections ant the 2019 national elections.
ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu already said they expect their online presence will make a difference in ensuring voters.
