Pop-star Rihanna created a ‘hypnotic world’ for the debut of her Savage X Fenty Fall/Winter 2018 collection at New York Fashion Week.

“We still want to do something that’s feels authentic, you don’t want to do anything that kind of – I’m not a box girl. And everybody that knows me knows I like to do something that pushes the envelope,” said Rihanna.

The collection was shown alongside botanical domes, hydrophonics and numerous dancers dressed in Savage X Fenty lingerie who helped usher models down the runway.

With the show, Rihanna aimed to break the stereotype of how a lingerie model should look.

“I like to explore all different body types. I want women that have body types I’ve never seen before, like a weird unibrow or just awkward or about to become a mother,” the singer said.

“Lingerie is not just about exploiting the female body, it’s about celebrating it and that’s what Savage is all about,” she added.

The collection was available for purchase online immediately following the show.

The brand features sizes from 32A – 40DDD in bras and XS-3X in undies and sleepwear.
