Retired Deputy Chief Justice to be honoured

Retired Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke will on Thursday receive an honorary law doctorate at the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, where he will be be honoured for the contribution he has made in the legal profession.

More than 1 700 graduates will receive their diplomas and degrees at the institution, this will include the conferring of doctorates to 31 graduates.

Moseneke is leading the key legal redress process, aimed at healing the families of psychiatric patients who died at various NGOs after they were moved from the Life Esidimeni hospital.
