President Cyril Ramaphosa will visit the Volvo assembly plant’s Youth Employment Initiative in Amanzimtoti south of Durban on Saturday.
The programme is in line with Ramaphosa’s Youth Employment Service (YES). It aims to see more than a million young South Africans undergoing work experience over the next three years.
The Volvo group in Southern Africa plans to invest an additional R20 million during this year alone on apprenticeship training and internships.
