Ramaphosa joins Muslim worshippers for Ramadaan in Cape Town

President Cyril Ramaphosa joins a group of Muslim worshippers as they break their fast on Thursday night during the holy month of Ramadaan, at the Islamia College, in Lansdowne, Cape Town.

Ramadaan is a sacred time of renewal, upliftment and heightened consciousness.

And Iftaar is one of the most sacred daily celebrations of the breaking of the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

More than a billion Muslims globally engage in acts of worship and festivities for an entire lunar month.

He engages with the Athlone Parliamentary Constituency Office in the Western Cape under the theme “We Shall Overcome  COVID-19: Giving Thanks, Celebrating our Courage & Unity”.
