Ramaphosa expresses pride in #JerusalemaChallenge

President Cyril Ramaphosa encouraged South Africans during his virtual 2020 National Heritage Day keynote address to continue celebrating unity and setting worldwide trends.

He expressed pride that the Jerusalema Challenge is continuing to trend on social media platforms.

Ramaphosa says, “We are the nation that is taking the world by storm with the #JerusalemaChallenge – as young and old in many countries around the world, in France, the UK, Jamaica, Angola and Palestine are getting in on the craze of this song and dance.”

Master KG’s Jerusalema challenge goes viral

The world erupted in dance to South Africa’s hit song ‘Jerusalema’. The song, which was released last year has reached Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Germany, France among others.

The brains behind the hit, Kgaogelo Moagi – more popularly known as Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode received the international stamp of approval for the song after dance challenges went viral on social media of people around the world dancing to the hit under the hashtag ‘Jerusalema Dance Challenge’.

Master KG says the song asks for God’s guidance.
