At her ancestral home of Bizana residents are preparing to pay their last respects.

They remember all the good things she did for them.

Resident Mthandeni Swana says: “She built a school at Mbhongweni village. She was also going to help us by building toilets where a young pupil died. We love her so much, RIP mama.”

Her legacy will live on and remembered for generations to come.

The Eastern Cape government says they are expecting more than 12 000 people to attend the memorable service on Tuesday.
