Democratic Alliance (DA) leader Mmusi Maimane says African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa cannot claim to be a saint and distance himself from what has been a corrupt collapse of state under the ANC-led government.
Maimane has been speaking at the DA’s KwaZulu-Natal provincial congress underway in Durban.
The DA leader says decisions that were taken by President Jacob Zuma were collective decisions, which Ramaphosa was part of.
“For them, it makes no difference who the leader of the ANC is… for them there is no such thing as a new deal… because for them, there is nothing that has changed. It is sad especially when the new leader has been sitting watching all the sins on the road.”
