ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has made a clarion call on members in the North West to unite amid threats that there is a plan to take the party to court over the disbanding of the Provincial Task Team (PTT) led by premier Job Mokgoro.

It was been replaced with a new PTT with Obed Bapela as convener.

Ramaphosa was addressing ANC members at the provincial manifesto launch of the governing party in Rustenburg. He has called on warring factions to bury the hatchet and work towards delivering an overwhelming victory for the ANC in the May 8th general elections.

He added, “There is no other way than to forge unity, particularly at this time, as we are going to an election, and appealing to the masses of our people. So, let us proceed to an election, we are saying. No, No, No, No we are not going to lose this province. This province belongs to the African National Congress. We are going to win. So, be rest assured we’re winning North West.”
