The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says this could result in isolated cases of flash flooding.
Forecaster Wayne Venter says, “We are expecting some good rainfall in places over the eastern half of the Eastern Cape as well as most places in KwaZulu-Natal. As for today, we actually have a chance for some showers and thunder showers for the central parts of the country as well. And also extending into Gauteng on Thursday overnight and into Friday morning we do have a chance of some rainfall in Gauteng as well.”
