Business and investors will keep a watchful eye on the ANC’s policy conference next week. They will be looking for any signs of a possible shift in policy direction. Economic transformation is expected to take center stage as the country continues to grapple with mounting challenges. Issues expected to be at the top of the agenda include discussion on nationalisation of mines, land reform, discipline among party members and many other issues. ANC Secretary General, Gwede Mantashe and ANC NEC member Jeff Radebe formed part of the SABC/New Age breakfast meeting discussion on the much awaited ANC policy conference scheduled to be held from Monday until Friday next week in Midrand in Johannesburg.
