Johannesburg Metro Police are seeking for assistance on the arrest and conviction of the alleged suspect who broke in at the office of City's Council Chief Whip.

A reward of R25 000 has been set by the City of Johannesburg for anyone who could come up with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect who allegedly broke into the office of the City’s Council Chief Whip Kevin Wax.

Johannesburg Metro Police have since released a video of the suspect carrying items allegedly stolen from the offices of Wax and his Deputy on Friday night.

“There’s an investigation that was initiated and there’s a reward that was put out there by the city. The reward is R25 000 for a successful arrest and conviction of the person and we hope that through all of these efforts we will get to the bottom of this,” explains Wax.
