South Africa have fought back bravely in the first session on Day three of the first Cricket Test against India in Visakhapatnam.

The Proteas who resumed their first innings on 39 for the loss of three wickets, went to lunch on 153 for four.

Themba Bavuma was the only batsman to lose his wicket in the morning session. He was trapped leg before by Ishant Sharma for 18.

The Proteas still trail India by 349 runs with six wickets in hand.
