Fast-bowler Kagiso Rabada maintains they need to adapt well to conditions and stick to their game plan.

The Proteas will look to take a step closer to winning the One-Day International series against Sri Lanka when the two teams do battle in the second match on Wednesday.

After being whitewashed in the Test series, the Proteas got back to winning ways beating the hosts by five wickets in the first of the five match series.

Fast-bowler Kagiso Rabada maintains they need to adapt well to conditions and stick to their game plan if they are to take a 2-nil lead in the series.

With 2019 being the ICC World Cup year, the Proteas are using Sri Lanka, especially the five match One-Day International series, as part of preparations for the global showpiece.

Despite that, Rabada maintains the focus of the players is on winning the next game and taking a 2-nil lead in the five match ODI series.
