Anti-gang detectives and SAPS crime experts are busy combing the scene for clues following the fatal shooting of the prominent criminal lawyer, Peter Mihalik outside the Reddam High School in Green Point.

Mihalik was gunned down after dropping off his child at the school Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana elaborates on the incident: “According to reports a 50-year-old man was shot in his head and fatally wounded inside his vehicle by unidentified suspects. The suspects were seen fleeing in a metallic grey silver Polo. The victim’s eight-year-old sustained an injury and transported to hospital for treatment. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.”
