The late Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize, will be afforded an official provincial funeral category 2 on Saturday.
In a statement, the Presidency says flags will be flown at half-mast at flag stations across the country from Tuesday until Mkhize has been laid to rest.

Mkhize passed away last Thursday at the age of 69.
She served as ambassador to the Netherlands, deputy minister of correctional services, economic development, telecommunications, and postal services, minister of Home Affairs and she also served as Higher Education minister.
