Prof Daniel Plaatjies’ life celebrated at a memorial service in Cape Town

Professor Daniel Plaatjies was the chair of the Financial and Fiscal Commission.

The memorial service for Professor Daniel Plaatjies is currently under way in Cape Town.

Professor Plaatjies, who was the chair of the Financial and Fiscal Commission, passed away at the age of  57.

The family said in a statement that Plaatjies passed away unexpectedly of natural causes last weekend.
