President Cyril Ramaphosa on Thursday morning arrived at Msikaba in Lusikisiki, in the Eastern Cape, where he is visiting the construction site of the multi-billion rand Msikaba Bridge.
The bridge is part of the envisaged N2 Wild Coast road megaproject that will link the Eastern Cape with KwaZulu-Natal.
The first soil for the construction of the Msikaba Bridge was turned four years ago.

It will cost an estimated R1.65 billion and is expected to be completed by 2023.
A cable car has already been installed. President Ramaphosa went into a briefing with stakeholders shortly after his arrival.
An engagement with the community is scheduled for Thursday, preceded by a site visit by the President.
