The pre-trial hearing of the six people accused of corruption in the contract to build accommodation at the Talana Hostel in Tzaneen, Limpopo, has been postponed at the Polokwane Specialised Crimes Court.  Businesswoman, Constance Mohlala and five employees of the Housing Development Agency, each face three counts of fraud, three of theft as well as three of forgery. Fifteen-point-three million rand was used to build shacks at the hostel last year.

“The accused were arrested related to Talana housing alleged corruption appeared in the Polokwane Specialised Crimes Court today and their case was postponed to the third of November 2021 for a pre-trial,” says Provincial Hawks spokesperson, Matimba Maluleke.
