The IFP's Narend Singh says the President's 'new' cabinet wont bring anything new to the table and is simply a disappointment.

Most political parties say President Ramaphosa’s ‘reshuffled cabinet’ is nothing new and is simply made up of recycled members of the ‘old guard’.

Several ministers have been moved around and both Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize and Finance Minister Tito Mboweni resigned.

President Ramaphosa told the nation on Thursday that the country is facing several challenges which needed to be attended with urgency hence the reshuffle.

The EFF’s National Chairperson, Veronica Mente says ‘chopping and changing’ of cabinet members wont bring any changes at all.

Meanwhile, the IFP’s Narend Singh says the President’s ‘new’ cabinet wont bring anything new to the table and is simply a disappointment.

Singh says: “The President could have done more, he could have done better in putting a competent team to lead the country on his behalf and under his watch.”
