Political parties campaign in KZN

Political parties are out in full force Monday to canvass votes in KwaZulu-Natal ahead of the general elections in just over two week’s time.

ANC provincial chairperson Senzo Mchunu is in Port Shepstone on the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) south coast, while NFP leader Zanele Ka-Magwaza Msibi is taking the party’s election campaign to Muden and Howick in the KZN midlands.

Meanwhile, IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi is interacting with the community of KwaMaphumulo on the north coast.

President Jacob Zuma will hand over houses to destitute families at Qhudeni near Kranskop. During the Easter weekend leaders of political parties attended church services.

Political parties are preparing for the national elections on May 7.
